The Sport Factory has formed a Masters swim program  specifically targeting the skill sets for triathlon swimmers.  Practices are designed and coached by Sport Factory swim/triathlon coach Tracy Palmer, a former National Qualifier and NCAA/SEC swimmer at the University of Kentucky with 15 years coaching experience.  Tracy will be assisted by other members of our talented coaching staff
, on deck to help guide the session and maximize your time in the water.  Beginners welcome!

 Program Design:
  • -  Practice will include stroke drills and exercises designed to improve stroke efficiency in the water.
  • -  Open water swimming skills will be addressed and drills/exercises will be incorporated throughout the season to help prepare for races.
  • -  Main sets will be designed to train long course and short course triathlon racing with different workouts depending on the distances athletes are training.
  • -  Test sets will be incorporated to test limiters and to monitor progress.
  • -  Workouts will be available online as an option for athletes who cannot attend each practice or have to miss practices due to time conflicts.  Each week will build on the previous week with the focus varying based on the different phases of the triathlon season.
