Spin Scan

Spin Scan is a graphic representation of where you are producing power (or not) throughout each pedal stroke. It is a great tool for determining if you have a power imbalance between your left and ride side, and for producing power more smoothly and effectively. Spin scan can be incorporated into a dynamic bike fit to help identify biomechanical as well as fit issues.

Your spin scan "number" is the average torque divided by maximal torque x 100. A number between 70 and 90 is to be very efficient transfer or power. Each bar in the graph represents a 15 degree segment of 360 degrees.

This graph shows an imbalance between left and right leg power and may be used to address form or identify a biomechanical issues such as leg length discrepancy, strength imbalance, or flexibility limitation.
