Getting Started; How Our Coaching Process Works

Custom coaching is not just for elite athletes it is for anyone who wants to train safely, effectively, and maximize gain for the effort and time they put forth. Beginners benefit greatly from coaching. Bad form is corrected before it is made into bad habit and the learning curve is greatly accelerated.

The first step in our process is to take our online start up kit. All of our plan levels start in the same place; information gathering on the athlete. Once we have gathered this detailed information a coach will be recommended to you based on your answers to certain key questions. If it is a good fit, we will move forward to the consultation phase in which the coach will meet with you in person or set up a call. During the consultation your race season, goals, and limiters will be discussed in great detail.

After the consultation your coach will get you loaded into our software, design your annual training plan, and recommend field or clinical tests to establish heart rate and/or power zones. You may want to incorporate some of specialty services which you will receive a 20% discount for.

Your work outs will be emailed to you automatically on a daily basis but you can always see your entire training block in great detail in the software. Your job is to enter information in your daily log and upload your training device if applicable. Once you save this your coach is automatically emailed as well, keeping a constant stream of communication going between you two. If you upload your device your coach can see virtually everything that occurred during the work out, even a satellite view of your course!

Coaching has become a much more technical art and there is a bit of a learning curve on the front end as you learn our systems. I believe we have created one of the most practical and efficient coaching processes available. Please do not hesitate to ask questions at any point; that is what we are here for.
