Coaching and Nutrition Software Features and Process

Coaching requires excellent communication with the athlete on a variety of levels. Today we have the ability to gather, process, and track so much data it requires a tool of great sophistication to organize it. The software we use has unparalleled capability and each new member receives a full featured Training Peaks Premium account included in their coaching fees.

Your work outs are planned on your calendar 4 weeks in advance and are emailed in detail to you daily. You can also download your calendar to outlook, PDA, or social network.

Your job is to keep up your daily log. Virtually every aspect of the athlete can be quantified and entered here and your coach can view how you are reacting to the training stress. After you complete your log data your work out turns a specific color based on your performance; ex. Green- for completed as prescribed, and an email of your data is automatically sent to your coach maintaining a constant stream of communication between coach and athlete.

Use your dashboard to track and graph just about any aspect of your daily log. This includes stress levels, sleep, resting heart rate, blood pressure, weight, and overall training effect as well as routes, power data and progression,

Similar to the Daily Training Log the meal log is where you analyze and record your food intake.  Use the Meal Manager to search for detailed nutrition data to generate graphs and reports. Take the details of your favorite meals and turn them into templates to speed the process of entering future meals.  It also puts nutrition data from over a dozen of the country's most popular restaurant menus at your finger tips. Finally, new custom foods are available to the search, so the system grows through increased usage.  You can also have our Registered Dietician analyze your data.

Upload your power meter, heart rate monitor, GPS device, or computrainer to the software for analysis and comparison to work out description. When your coach gets this data there is nowhere to hide!

You can even view your GPS upload in map/sattelite format and replay your work out.  Work out route can be put into 3D using GoogleEarth.  Routes can be saved for comparison and to track progress.
