Local Running Race Calendar
By Lauren TomoryWhether you specialize in running, triathlon, or duathlon, a fun and easy way to re-vamp your training is to get some local running races on your calendar! Even if you can only work these efforts in as B or C races, the adrenaline created in a race environment may make your hard days easier. Here are some local races (plus a few that are worth the drive) from mid-June through December of 2010.

Lauren Tomory is the most recent addition to The Sport Factory. A two-sport standout at Furman University, Lauren graduated in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. Today she is training to hit the US Olympic Trials Qualifying standard in the marathon. Lauren is dedicated to helping others achieve their running and fitness goals. She is currently in the process of attaining a USATF Level 1 Certification, and she currently sits on the Board of USATF Georgia as the Athletes’ Advisory Commission Chair.
